The cubicle walls help, but not as well as I’d like. Lately my fridge has been running loud more than usual and I wish I could block it out. I should get some more.

@ sean/KeyOfGrey to be honest I don’t use the K-Micros for anything other than for talkback. I was using one for the video recording into reaper but in the end just went with the camera audio because it was just as bad.

NICE! I had a little bit of an idea as to what your place looked like. Nice to see the whole thing in its entirety. I think it adds a lot of credibility when you see that we use, as you say, “humble” setups, but we can still make good recordings.

Also, nice call on the cubicle walls. That’s a really cool idea.

Nice set up. I want to do a tour of my workspace but after yours and Joe’s, mine feels woefully inadequate. Nice apartment, looks a lot like mine when I lived in Toronto. How are those Karma K-Micros? Are they decent?

Nice video. I am going to make one of those myself soon. Just as you mentioned, I know that it will take all day if not two. I will make sure to light it well to keep Steve off of my back!

yeah sorry about the darkness that was every lightbulb turned on. iMovie doesn’t have any video FX that I can find.

I haven’t had any complaints about noise yet :)

As you are 200 Feet up I assume you are in an apartment building or similar. What do the neighbours (above & Below) think of your “sounds” ??

As you said a rough and ready tour.. Good idea however.. especially if someone is thinking of breaking in and nicking your stuff ;-)

hmmmm a little too much dark side showing.. ala some scenes were a little dark to see what you were describing.

Hmm that’s all I have to say really ;-)
